FIFA Foundation Community Programme opens tender process

The FIFA Foundation, has today (19 September) launched an RFP to procure the provision of services related to the assessment, review, and processing of applications (application form, budget and all requested supporting documents) received by non-profit organisations interested in taking part in the FIFA Foundation Community Programme 2024, as well as the formulation of funding recommendations and rejections, and the preparation of a final report including an overview of the application and selection process. The FIFA Foundation Community Programme aims to support well established non-profit organisations that use football to address the most pressing global challenges that affect underprivileged children and young people, contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. To this end, the Foundation provides financial support to cover a wide range of costs, incl. programmatic and institutional costs, as well as costs related to projects, initiatives, events and workshops. The FIFA Foundation Community Programme is launched every year and organisations from around the world apply to receive funding from this Programme. The FIFA Foundation is an independent foundation established within the meaning of arts. 80 and seqq. of the Swiss Civil Code (SCC). As enshrined in art. 2 of its Charter, the FIFA Foundation aims to promote social change worldwide through the support of programmes, initiatives, projects and organisations, in particular those using football as a tool for social development.
