Romania's Teodora Albon will take charge of the opening game of the Olympic Football Tournaments at Rio 2016, overseeing Sweden against South Africa at the Olympic Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday 3 August. She will be joined by compatriot assistant referee Petruta Iugulescu as well as assistant Maria Sukenikova from Slovakia and the Uruguayan fourth official Claudia Umpierrez.

Referee Cesar Ramos will be joined by fellow Mexicans Marvin Torrentera and Miguel Hernandez as his assistants, alongside Egyptian fourth official Ghead Grisha for Iraq's match against Denmark in Brasilia, the opening game of the men's tournament, on Thursday.
