Event to take place from 26 to 27 September 2022 in San José, Costa Rica
Experts from the world of football, including FIFA member associations and confederations, to participate
Following the success of the first three editions of the Compliance Summit and in line with its continued commitment to promoting good governance and compliance within confederations, member associations and football in general, FIFA is due to host its 4th Compliance Summit from 26 to 27 September 2022 in San José, Costa Rica.
After a fully digital event in 2020 prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event is to be staged in the Costa Rican capital and will bring together governance and compliance experts and practitioners from the world of football in person, including FIFA member associations and the confederations, to discuss best practices, share knowledge and explore the latest trends.
This year’s summit will go a step further by exploring the notion of shifting the paradigm of the modern compliance programme to one that embraces not only robust and sustainable policies, but a shared mindset and culture.
In 2020, the digital Compliance Summit hosted over 380 participants from around the world and unveiled the first FIFA Compliance Handbook.
In addition to organising the summits, FIFA recently hosted the heads of compliance from each of the six confederations for a special two-day round-table workshop.
Further details on FIFA’s fourth Compliance Summit will follow in due course.
