Request for Information (RFI) – A team of professionals in efficient resource management at global events through LCA

A team of passionate professionals with a sustainable development mindset are invited to request information on engineering the efficient resource management programs. The implementation of the ambitious goals of FIFA Climate Strategy will require substantial processes to build up the Global events resource management system that is ethical, economical, efficient, and visionary to guide people in changing their lifestyles and practices to emulate sustainable natural cycles, where all discarded materials become resources for others to use.

The primary focus of the newly designed system is to source practical solutions applicable for the Tournament operations to avoid and eliminate the volume and toxicity of discarded materials, conserve and recover resources, and not send to landfill nor incinerate them.

To enhance sustainable resource management planning and operations, FIFA is seeking expressions of interest, with a view to launching a formal RFP Process. It is expected these professionals will have the granular interdisciplinary knowledge of on-the-ground operations at large-scale events and possess the expertise of lifecycle analysis and GHG emission assessment along with the in-depth understanding of its impact, financial and organisational dependencies, and can pack it into ergonomic and innovative operational solutions.

Given the expected high volume of responses, expressing interest in participating in the RFP will not automatically translate into an invitation to participate, as FIFA will conduct a pre-assessment of the bidders interested before shortlisting the participants who will be invited to participate in the RFP Process.

Interested parties should register their interest by emailing FIFA at inf@fifa.org.

The deadline for expressions of interest to participate in the RFP Process is Friday, 9th June 2023, at 23h59 CET.
