Following the success of the two previous editions, FIFA has today confirmed that the third edition of the Football Law Annual Review (FLAR) will take place on 22 and 23 March 2021.
Due to the international restrictions in place related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will take place virtually and be open to the general public, as it will be streamed live on FIFA.com.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino will open the conference on 22 March at 14:00, to be followed by an overview of FIFA’s Legal and Compliance Division in 2020 by its Chief Officer, Emilio García Silvero.
On the agenda are key topics relating to contemporary football, including FIFA’s new eligibility rules with regard to playing for representative teams, the reform of the transfer system, the state of the football transfer market in 2020, new minimum labour conditions for women’s football and new rules for employing coaches.
Attendance is free of charge and no registration is needed. All presentations will be given in English, with simultaneous interpreting into Spanish and French. Full audio and video recordings will be made available on legal.fifa.com.
