Mohamed Magdy
Mohamed Magdy is among the youngest members of the Egypt squad. Aged 22, the attacking midfielder is hoping he can play an active role at the FIFA World Cup™ and make history with the Pharaohs.
Based at Egyptian club ENPPI, Magdy is quick and a dangerous striker of the ball from distance. Although he did not take part in the qualifiers for Russia 2018, he recently caught the eye of coach Hector Cuper and won his maiden cap in the friendly loss to Greece in March. Buoyed by that breakthrough, he promptly set about shining with his club in order to secure a squad berth at the finals.
