Cultural and Historical Value: The palace of Family Center Kazan is a real piece of art which has been constructed according to the drawings of the Russian painter and sculptor Dashi Namdakov. The architectural concept of the building reflects the culture, history and national traditions of the region. The palace has a shape of a giant bowl that reminds citizens and guests of the regional capital of rich historical traditions, national identity and authenticity of the city.
The complex officially named Family Center Kazan has become a new sightseeing spot of the city, a symbol of love and devotion. At its opening ceremony, 27 couples got married here simultaneously, standing for the opening date of the Universiade that was held in Kazan in 2013.
Kazan Kremlin, Syuyumbike tower, Blagoveshchensky cathedral, Kul Sharif mosque and the embankment of Kazan river create an impressive architectural ensemble of the Kazan city, which is now complete with the Palace of Marriage – architectural heritage popularly called Chasha (Bowl).
