Jordan Morris’ late strike against Jamaica sparked scenes of jubilation among USA fans on Wednesday, as the Stars and Stripes lifted their sixth CONCACAF Gold Cup. Caligiuri’s goal against Trinidad and Tobago in November 1989 sealed USA’s return to the FIFA World Cup™ after a 40-year hiatus, and the CONCACAF giants have been ever-present at the global finals since.
