Lublin Stadium is one of the most modern sports facilities of its kind in Poland and is a true showpiece of the region. Opened in September 2014, it has a seating capacity of 15,243. The stadium is the home of Motor Lublin, who currently play in the Polish third division (Poland’s fourth tier). The arena was one of the venues chosen to host the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2017. This multifunctional venue not only plays host to sporting events but musical ones too; in September 2018, the singer Alvaro Soler and the group Alphaville both played concerts there.
