The Estadio da Serrinha is owned by Brazilian Serie A club Goias Esporte Clube, which plays all its Goias state championship matches there and its ties in the early rounds of the Copa do Brasil. Built in 1995, the stadium was extensively refurbished in 2004 and its South Stand opened in 2018. It will host six group-phase matches at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019 and two Round-of-16 games.
