The University of British Columbia (UBC) is the birthplace of Sports Medicine in Canada and home to a world-leading team of health professionals and scientists who have led the development of this specialised discipline over the past 30 years. The Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Centre at UBC brings together numerous individuals with a breadth of clinical experience in a wide-variety of sports-related medical specialties. The onsite availability of these specialties at the Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Clinic on campus or within the campus of the University of British Columbia ensures an integrated approach to sports medicine.
