Carli Lloyd, Lieke Martens, Marta and Megan Rapinoe were named The Best FIFA Women’s Player for 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 respectively, and there is no shortage of worthy candidates for the 2020 award.

This year's winner, determined on the basis of sporting performance and general conduct on and off the pitch in the period between 8 July 2019 to 7 October 2020, will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards show in Zurich on Thursday 17 December.
