Paraguay became the final South American nation to qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup by defeating Uruguay 7-2 in the 2016 CONMEBOL Futsal Championship's match for third place in Asuncion, Paraguay.
Juan Gomez bagged four goals for La Albirroja as team-mates Richard Rejala, Francisco Martínez and Rene Villalba also found the net at the Estadio Polideportivo Sol de América to secure their place at Colombia 2016.
Paraguay join fellow South American nations Brazil, Argentina and hosts Colombia at the tournament, which will take place between 10 September and 1 October 2016.
Meanwhile, Brazil defeated Argentina 4-0 in the 2016 CONMEBOL Futsal Championship final, with goals from Fernandinho, Bateria, Jé and Rodrigo.
Brazil and Argentina had already secured their places at Colombia 2016 with semi-final victories against Uruguay and Paraguay, respectively.
