In accordance with the FIFA governance regulations (art. 37 para 2b), Tomaž Vesel, the independent chairperson of FIFA’s Audit and Compliance Committee, and Issa Hayatou, the FIFA Finance Committee chairman, have appointed international legal and procurement advisor Dr. Peter Braun as an additional independent member to complete the three-person compensation sub-committee. The fully comprised committee is responsible for defining the individual annual compensation of the FIFA President, of the vice-presidents and members of the Council, as well as of the Secretary General. The next meeting is scheduled for 31 August 2016.
