The FIFA eWorld Cup™ is nearly upon us. Last weekend in Berlin saw the final round of the FIFA 19 Global Series Playoffs being contested, with PlayStation’s 16 representatives being confirmed for the Grand Final, joining the top 16 Xbox stars who had confirmed their places after the Hamburg event the previous weekend.
A mouth-watering finale is in store at The O2 in London on 2-4 August, as the world’s leading EA SPORTS FIFA 19 players – from 'Tekkz' and 'MsDossary' to 'Nicolas99fc' and 'Maestro' – descend on the British capital for the season’s curtain-closer.
Biggest prize pool yet
As well as vying for the right to be crowned the world’s best, take home the coveted trophy and win an exclusive trip to The Best FIFA Football Awards™ in Milan, the 32 competitive FIFA stars will be looking to get their hands on the biggest prize pool yet.
A staggering USD 500,000 USD is up for grabs at The O2 in London, up from USD 400,000 the previous year, with the winner bagging a life-changing USD 250,000.

Tournament format
Thirty-two players are divided into four groups of eight – two PlayStation and two Xbox – where each player will compete against one another over a series of two games. The winner will be decided based on the aggregate score of the two games played during the match.
2 August: Group stage
3 August: Conclusion of group stage, Round of 16 and quarter-finals
4 August: Semi-finals and Final Showdown
The top four from each group with the most points will progress to the Round of 16, followed by the quarter-finals on Saturday. Sunday’s semi-finals will begin in the afternoon in front of a fervent crowd at The O2 in London.
The Final Showdown, featuring the winner of the Xbox final and the winner of the PlayStation final, will have one match played on each console to decide the undisputed best EA SPORTS FIFA 19 player in the world.
