Meanwhile PSG eSports were forced to settle for sixth place in Group B after recording two wins, one draw and four defeats.

2. Navigating the group stage unbeaten Both Hashtag Academy and FC Basel 1893 performed impressively during the group stage to reach the last eight undefeated, but were unable to progress further after being beaten in the quarter-finals – together with every other team from Group A.

3. Attack wins you titles With 67 goals to their name, Brondby IF were the highest-scoring team of the tournament. The Danish club sealed the title with an impressive average of 3.35 goals per game. ‘Fifaustun’ was particularly unstoppable in attack, finding the target an average of 4.1 times in every match.

4. Team success makes the difference While the second and third-placed teams primarily relied on one player to deliver wins, both of Brondby’s representatives scored six goals each. ‘Eisvogel’ led the way for second-placed Team Envy with seven wins, while ‘kurt0411’ of Team Mkers recorded six victories, offsetting the same number of defeats suffered by team-mate ‘IcePrinsipe’ to seal third place.

5. FIFA eClub World Cup kings Winners at last year’s edition, Brondby IF retained their FIFA eClub World Cup title. "The second title in a row, maybe three titles - who knows?”, said "SpencerFC" after the final. “Someone has to stop them.”
