FIFA to provide FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Sign Language Coverage on FIFA+

As the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ approaches, FIFA is enhancing accessibility for fans around the globe. Highlights videos of every match of the highly anticipated tournament will feature sign language interpretation, ensuring an inclusive experience for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers. Kicking off on 20 July and culminating with the final on 20 August, this transformative feature is made possible through a collaboration with Sign Now, an organization dedicated to promoting accessibility and bridging communication gaps. The initiative builds on the success of sign language highlights delivered at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ last year. The implementation of sign language interpretation is part of FIFA's ongoing efforts to ensure that all fans can fully engage with the world's most prestigious football events, aligned to FIFA's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ is poised to make history as the largest standalone women's sporting event ever held. It is also anticipated to be the most attended FIFA Women’s World Cup™, underscoring the growing popularity and global appeal of women's football. All match highlights will be available here.
