Only ten days remain until the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021™. Now the full squads of the 24 participating teams have been released, and anticipation is building for the opening match between hosts Lithuania and Venezuela at Kaunas Arena on Sunday, September 12, at 20:00 local time.
A total of 384 players are expected in Lithuania. Each team was allowed to field a 16-man roster instead of the usual 14, an increase due to the Covid-19 measures put in place for the event.
The oldest player in Lithuania will be 46-year-old Czech Libor Gercak. The chick of the tournament Raphael Leai from Solomon Islands celebrates his 18th birthday three days before the opening match. Twelve players are already arriving as world champions.
The winner of the FIFA Futsal World Cup™ will be crowned on October 3 at the Kaunas Arena. Kick-off for the grand final is scheduled for 20:00 local time
