Football is nothing without fans. The beautiful game is so popular around the world because of its unique ability to bring people together.

So we want to know what's on your mind each week. Which videos do you keep coming back to? Or has there been a fascinating feature on your favourite team or player that deserves wider viewing? Submit your thoughts via social media with the hashtag #WeLiveFootball, and we'll pick the top ones to showcase here.

Deadline day, pre-season tournaments and club friendlies provided the backdrops for some of your favourites this week. These five submissions come to us from the FIFA Fan Movement.

Moise and mum's Merseyside move

From Navin James (India) Everton were highly active building their squad over the close season, leading into Thursday's Premier League signing deadline. Perhaps their most exciting new prospect is 19-year-old Italy international Moise Kean, who joined from Juventus. To make the young forward feel at home, the club presented both Kean and his mum with gifts, as fabfooties pointed out.

Messi: I trust this squad

From Inamuldinho Hasan (USA) Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi delivered a powerful pre-season message to the Blaugrana faithful that captured inamuldinho_hasan's attention. Among other things, the club captain acknowledged the difficulties of the previous season and professed his faith in his team-mates.

New goals

From Vanessa Tomaszewski (France) The face of football in Spain is changing, and here's more evidence to prove it. Via championsdudigital, this Cadena SER article says that according to a study, "professional footballer" is now among the top 10 careers young women in Spain aspire to when they grow up.

Dream debut

From Sodeke Afolabi Michael (Nigeria) Major League Soccer outfit Seattle Sounders FC helped an eight-year-old boy's dream come true during their friendly against Borussia Dortmund. Bheem Goyal, who is battling Leukemia, trained with his favourite team leading up to the match and got the starting nod at goalkeeper, as @PrinceMASodeke shares.
