Full rankings available on fifa.gg
PlayStation: Continental Cup champion 'Joksan' was able to keep his place at the summit, ahead of 'nicolas99fc', 'mo_aubameyang' and 'StefanoPinna', who all participated at last season's Grand Final. 2014 champion August Rosenmeier lies in sixth.
Xbox: 'F2Tekkz’ remains in first place after his two tournament triumphs already this season, although reigning world champion 'Msdossary' got the better of him in the FUT Champions Cup December to climb to second in the standings. They are chased by 'MegaBit', 'Ajax Dani’, 'Marcus Gomes’ and 'Rogue GM21’, who were likewise all Grand Finalists last season.
Best represented countries in the FIFA 19 Global Series Rankings
PlayStation: 'nicolas99fc' is currently on his way back to his best and, following the surprise success of 'be7hke_ARB', is one of two Argentinian players in the top ten. Germany are the only nation with more players among the top ten with three representatives.
Xbox: In 'Msdossary' and 'The Roy4I’, who played together as a team at the FIFA eClub World Cup™ last year, there are two Saudi Arabian players in the top ten. That puts them level with Germany, who are represented by 'MegaBit’ and 'NRaseck'.
What the experts say
Richard Buckley - Player of the Month: 'Msdossary' "There were some questions asked about the performance levels of the Saudi Arabian FIFA eWorld Cup champion at the start of FIFA 19, but he made his critics eat their words in London with a brilliant display and won the FUT Champions Cup December by beating 'F2Tekkz' in the console final. He is once again showing why he's one of the best."
Brandon Smith - Player of the Month: 'StefanoPinna' "The Belgian has started FIFA 19 where he finished off last season – at the highest level. He put in some fantastic performances in Bucharest and London to cement his place in the rankings and put himself in the best possible position moving into 2019."
Brandon & Richard: "We also want to highlight the Danish eSuperliga. The final took place on 17 December in front of a live audience of over 1,000 spectators and there was a fantastic atmosphere. Two-time FIFA eClub World Cup™ champions Brondby IF won the title – can anyone stop them?"
The month in numbers
There were only 2 FUT Champions Cup winners in the 2018 calendar year: 'F2Tekkz' (in January and November) and 'Msdossary‘ (in April and December)
3 major titles in as many years – Mosaad Aldossary became the first player in the world to achieve this feat
415 – the number of places 'be7hke_ARB' climbed in the rankings after reaching the PlayStation semi-final at the FUT Champions Cup December
3,230 Global Series points – the haul earned so far by 'F2Tekkz’, more than anyone else in the overall rankings
