FIFA has received official notification from the Ukrainian Association of Football, outlining their decision not to take part in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Russia 2021™, scheduled to take place in Moscow between 19 and 29 August 2021.

The Ukraine National Beach Soccer Team had secured their qualification to the World Cup by clinching second place at the recent European Qualifiers. Switzerland, as the fifth best team from the European Qualifiers, will replace Ukraine at the tournament.
