The draw for the final round of African qualifying for Qatar 2022 has been made

Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, Liverpool team-mates and two of the best footballers on the planet, will clash for a FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ place after Egypt were draw against Senegal in the final round of African qualifying.
A showdown between arch-rivals Nigeria and Ghana is also in store, while continental colossuses Cameroon and Algeria will collide. DR face Morocco as Mali, the only team left in the running yet to have appeared at the World Cup, play Tunisia. The winners of the five ties will represent Africa at Qatar 2022. The first legs will be played on 24 March, with the return legs five days later.
“It’s beautiful,” said draw assistant Emmanuel Adebayor. “Ten countries, ten big countries from the continent. It’s going to be interesting and they have to know one thing: they are going out there to represent the continent. “I’m seeing Nigeria against Ghana. It’s going to be very difficult. There is a lot of Ghanaians in Nigeria. There is a lot of Nigerians in Ghana. It’s going to be a very, very tough game. Egypt against Senegal. It’s going to be very difficult.” “Senegal, of course!” responded draw assistant El Hadji Diouf when asked which teams he expected to go through. “Senegal, Nigeria are very good teams. I think it will work out very well for us. “I think small details will be very important, concentration. When won’t have much time between games to train and recuperate. They’re going to have to show their talent.”
